Game freezes more and more until CTD

Hello.

 

I have a weird problem with the Game. Tried to solve it on Steam forums, but got no help (you can read full history here). And it went away by itself, right as it appeared - with no apparent reason.

 

I played the game quite a while after that and recently the same problem started to appear again. I'll try to explain it as good as I can (English not my native).

 

Both times it started in town/city. First time in Riverwood (or similar small town, forgot the exact name). Second time - in Riften.

 

Both times started the same - every minute or so bame freezes. And then continues like nothing happened. These freezes are getting gradually longer and longer, from fraction of a second up to 5-6 seconds. And it goes like that until one of the freezes doesn't CTD.

 

Both times I tried to load earlier save and it was fine until reaching city/town. Then the mess starts.

 

But the first time, the problem went away by itself - the freezing time started to shorten until it was gone.

 

This time however, it doesn't go away.

 

First time game had just couple of mods. Now I have more of them, but FPS is not hampered.

 

Skyrim is installed in default path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\).

Vanilla game, Dawnstar and Hearthfire DLCs installed (no Dragonborn yet).

I have SKSE installed (1.07.01)

I have NMM (0.53.2)

I have LOOT (0.6.1) and use it to set the load order of mods and check for clashes. If LOOT reports them, I use TES5Edit (3.0.32) to correct problems.

Hardware? What GPU/CPU setup do you have, do you run an ENB, which heavy graphics mods do you use (aside from the ones in your loadorder, not every mod has a .esp)

Laptop HP Pavillion dv6. CPU - Intel Core i7-2670QM (2.2GHZ). 8GB RAM. Discreet video card Radeon HD6770M.

 

Apart from listed mods, I run PureWaters (the only Steam based mod), 2k textures, Sounds of Skyrim, Climates of Tamriel. No ENB.

However, as I said earlier, game worked without problems with all those mods and even more, like JK's Tamriel Collection overhaul and enhanced lighting. I switched those off as I got fed up with having to use torch in dungeons :) The problems started by themselves both times.

Now there's a new thing. Just today game froze, but no CTD happened. Instead whole computer froze, reacting to nothing (Alt-Tab, Windows button, Ctre-Alt-Del - no use). I had to switch the computer off (laptop, no reset button).

 

It happened outside of any town - in Dawnguard fortress.

Just now tried to play again - minute of play, 75 seconds of freeze (Dawnguard castle). When fast-travelled to Windhelm, immediate freeze and CTD. It is definitely something with video - the "heavier" the surroundings are - the worse is the outcome.
