I am trying to add a light source to an object that slowly moves back & forth, so that the light moves WITH the object. I am able to add the light source itself, but it stays stationary while the object I want to attach it to, slowly moves around in a small arc. The item that moves, does not have the option to turn off it's movement, nor does the light source have an option to move.

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

Thank in advance!

I don't think it works. The engine doesn't support it for anything other than an actor with a light enchantment (pipboy light). It may have been fixed somewhere, but I don't think there are any cases of it.

I had a nasty suspicion that was the case. Bummer.

Thanks Vagrant0.

No. That's not the end of this thread.
If you want to attach a light to a moving object, make the object ITSELF a light.
There are various objects that can have an object effect, "Container" for example.
Then you can add it the same way as the "Torch" from Oblivion.

Pretty easy actually

So, it would be possible to add, say a flame effect to the back of the B29's engine as it moves around?
Gonna look into trying that. Thanks!
