Every mod I try to install seems to have the same effect on my game. I do everything the installation requires, then when I start the game I click on data files and check the mod. Then when I click play the first title shows up then the game shudders and minimizes. When I reopen the tab it instantly minimizes again. That happens as many times as I have patience to keep trying to open it again. What am I doing wrong?

Hmm.. Your issue is the same as mine. I downloaded a mod. and mine just closes out completely. not sure if its a coding issue or what. Might need to look into a conferter. but had that problem in the past with fallout 3. I'll look into this more while trying to get my 1 mod to work.
