Ok, I downloaded the New Vegas GECK. I extracted it (it was zipped) into my Downloads folder, then I try running the Installation file like it says on the Geck Wiki but when I try to run the installation file it says "this application has failed to start because libvorbisfile.dll". I heard I was just supposed to INSTALL the game into the NV folder, am I also supposed to extract it in there before installation?

I think you're first supposed to put the GECK and associated files into the following directory:

C:...\Steam\SteamApps\common\fallout new vegas.

Once you've done that, try installing it again.

The New Vegas GECK isn't actually an installation file, it's the actual program. To use it it has to be in the Fallout New Vegas directory like McclaudEagle said.
