My character can't die

When my character tuns out of health it says 'you can't continue fighting' and looks like I'm about to die but then all of my health comes back and I can keep playing as if nothing happened.

 

I have an HP envy and I use SKSE 1.9.32. and skyrim is located in C:\programfiles(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim.

 

I have all three DLC's and

 

I have these mods in this load order:

Race menu

Race menu plugin

RS children overhaul

unofficial skyrim patch

arrowsmith

apachii sky hair

babette

bh warpaints

merida hair

new playable races by budcat

true brows

eyes of beauty

interesting npcs

bijin warmaidens

bosmer armor

Dr bandolier

hearthfire multiple adoptions

bosmeric drunken huntsman

inigo

proudspire manor refurbished

companion arissa

druid den redux

falskaar

indarys manor

windcallers pass

wyrmstooth

elisdriel

grove matron staff

lilium companion

TKMN more adoptable children

ceremonial bosmer armor

dread huntress armor

immersive armors

immersive weapons

free hug mod

immersive lovers comfort

nordic ranger armor

 

At first it would act like I was dying and stop there so I would have to manually load a save to get going again, then it just started doing that and then instantly replenishing all my health and continuing as if nothing had happened. It feels like cheating and takes a lot of the excitement out of the game so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

if something helps i have the same problem but i don't have the same mods as you. the mods i have like you are:

Race menu

racemenu plugin

RS children overhaul

unofficial skyrim patch

apachii sky hair

interesting npcs

Dr bandolier

immersive armors

immersive weapons

 

I also have the 3 dlc's with their respective patches. Maybe the problem is between this ones.

Is annoying that says "you can't continue fighting" and just get stuck and be force to load a previous save breaking the flow of the game

really hoping you find the answer so we both get this fixed

 

I have read that "player knockout" kinda "fixes" this issue but is on steam and it makes your character to get knockout and never die so you can stand up given time. But is not my style

I found a solution to the problem you see. I look for console commands that could help me. Basically our characters are in Essential mode, so try this:

setessential <player ID> <0>

0=not essential, 1=essential

after that I jump from a mountain and died happily :D

I had an issue like this , where the main character instead of dying just fell into defeated position and nothing happened. I found the culprit mod but its not really a single-out mod problem. Its an Animation lock problem . When two mods trigger on the same condition , even if one wins , the loosing mod could leave on the character an animation lock , that is hereditary from -FNIS- and / or -Animation : Animations - . These two mods are fathers to a lot, and i mean a lot of other mods . And if you so happened to use mods that trigger on defeat , or that use or prevent death at the same time and the same condition , it just takes one lousy simple mod that has no validation to leave a permanent lock . You wont notice it right away, since the lock only applies on that condition. But oh man, do they stack . Some mods even bring tools to remove this animation locks , but only to an extend. The more underground your mod is , the more probability it has this problem . And if you wonder why your character just stands there and the animation is not affecting your main character sometimes, this is why .

LOL, considering if the game is stuck after the player character's death (but not quite dead, but stuck in the defeated mode), then seeing the player dies as intended is a happy relief. It means: things are working as intended again. I don't think that is far, at all.
