Skyrim ctd after new install

Hi

 

i hope someone can advice me, just been illegal copy o skyrim whilst at sea, now i am home and have bought skyrim with all dlc and have started to install but it keeps crashing

during normal start it crashes after entering keep

alternative start it crashes after clicking on bed to start new life

tried to do STEP but it did the same crashing after loading the first set mods advised

I have SKSE latest version and enb installed

Any advice on what to install next to get the game working and looking reasonable beautiful would be much appreciated

i have tried loading a few more mods and am using loot, wrye bash, and TES5Edit and i can play for about 15 minutes also it is very slow to load.

So your problem was the load order but you've fixed it, now your issue is it runs badly and while you can get past the start bits it CTDs? What's ur system specs? And adding all those mods at once was a bad idea. It's always best to add a few at a time so you can see what causes issue and hits your performance. Have you got this as it has the memory patch which will fix lots of problems? I think there's also a patch for Cutting room floor and JKs mods, may have missed it in your load order but if not might be why.

Maybe it is not man enough for the job, although i keep tellin myself that i can play all the latest splinter cell and call of duty games.

 

I have Cutting room floor and JKs mods, and actually download the recommended premier installs from S.T.E.P.S

Also i loaded them in groups of 5-6 ones that went together and then played for 5 mins

I played again last night and lasted for about an hour, from what I have read maybe that is normal for a lot of people

As ive said a thousand times,BE selective when chosing your mods!!!

 

Take a look at your boss/loot log and see if theres any problems or conflicts between your mods.

 

And seriously!! If youre a beginner to modding you should start out with 10-20 mods not 140.

I can't find any useful info on that GPU other than that it's discrete. Perhaps you could run this and post the graph just to prove it's not your laptop? Also when I mention CRF and JKs mods I meant I'd seen you had them and hadn't seen the patch that there is for those two mods, which you need for them to work correctly together but I rechecked those mods and I can't see a patch so maybe I was imagining things, unless it's in the all in one installer for JKs cities? Cool to hear you installed things properly or at least carefully, helps a lot.

Jejejejejejk thank you for advice but my biggest problem is my inability to delay gratification and i want pretty skyrim now :laugh:
