So what i made was a mod pack for a friend who don't know very well how to make all this (sorting/adding mods) and i was thinking that could be more people like him, so i was wondering to publish my mod pack to nexus, I'm not a moder, I'm just a guy who like mods and learn out to make them run and solve some conflicts by sorting them right and things like this... Getting to the point if you guys want to see my mod pack uploaded, just leave your comment here. And if you're a moder and your mod is in the list please leave a post saying if you give me your permission or not to insert you mod in the pack! WastelandAssassin Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 so, all you are going to add is a pack with other people's mods??because not only will most modders not allow this (at least as far as i know) but i think this is quite a useless ideabasically, if you want some of these mods, and not all, then you can't use thisand if you don't know how to install a simple mod, how can you install a full pack of them?? actually, i never understood people who release such packsto me, they always looked like the second stupidest uploads (the first being stupid god items like assault rifles that shoot nukes and such) but if you think that there is actually a reason to upload such a pack, than do enlighten mei would love to find a good reason why such packs are uploaded Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Shadowk1ller Posted October 31, 2010 Author Share Posted October 31, 2010 @Toasty Fresh: The pack has about 360MB @WastelandAssassin: Just a thought, if you have some problems on your pc and lost everything in it and you have to download all mods again, and a pack (like this) have 70% or even 50% of the mods you were using, i think it helps, ALLOT.Or even if you were a "newcomer" and want some mods, this pack will do to start your adventure, i don't mean to launch this just for people to download this just for one mod or something this is just for people o wants a bunch of mods, ALL WORKING without problems of compatibility or CTD's...It is a fully "constructed" Data folder! robertward203 Posted November 2, 2010 Share Posted November 2, 2010 I reckon it's an okayish idea, it would just include minor gameplay changes for people who aren';t happy with original NVIt would be good if you could combine the .esm files with the GECK so that people's load lists would be less cluttered. Like what toasty fresh said, the file would be really big so maybe you could cut out some files like the ones with permission denied, and the ones like vodkarads since they're pretty useless.If you got permission denied then you can just forget it because your file will be deleted and you could get banned instantly.
