I am have the same issue as seven303. Luckily I was able to return to the location of ED-E and summon a new one from the old form (Eyebot). That copy stood and did NOTHING. Love the mod but if the AI is glitchy the ref id would be a great addition to the readme file to avoid unneeded stress and character file deletions. (I'm a perfectionist , lol).

Finally thank you much for the mod. It was working beautifully until that glitch and I appreciate your efforts on it :) - Borch1d.

Seven303 , try 0NVCompanionEDESinglar to spawn her. I just dug it out of the mod. Might work might not but worth a try.

Nevermind the previous edit found a fix. the Prid is 1200109D , Just type prid 1200109D then Moveto player. Tested and works.

She doesn't respond to the "Wait here" command; all the other control wheel options work.

Btw, for those of you trying to find your missing ED-D, you need the RefID, and it can vary per game (e.g. mine is 0900109D). Easiest way to get the RefID is to load up a previous save where you still had ED-D with you, make sure she's on the screen, go into the console, then use your mouse left-click and select her. The RefID will appear at the top of the screen.

I had my ED-D disappear when I walked indoors at Mojave Outpost... where did she end up? Clear across the map at Black Mountain.

Thanks to everyone for answering questions. I just came off 24+ hours of straight travel and haven't been able to log in.

I will go in and pull up the ID's tomorrow after I've caught some sleep.

I will post a version that does not require the Ling's hairdos/eye packs. If you don't like having to require multiple mods to load companion and other mods, get used to disappointment (Just look at the FO3 area).

For those who don't like the eyes, I will post one with a different selection but keeps the hairdos.

I will look into why the wait here command does not work, it may be missing something. Gimme till tomorrow afternoon PST and I should be able to get to these issues. Clothing; Since there aren't that many clothing mods out there yet, in the future I will try to provide an assortment of clothing that you can swap out by opening ED-E's inventory. Right now I stuck with vanilla clothing.

If you put weapons in her inventory, she will use them, providing you also put in ammo. Some of the screenies show her using the machete you start out the game with. At one point someone shot it out of her hand, and she pulled out her default stun baton.

Any suggestions etc. or requests please send me a PM, as I can only log on for limited periods of time when I'm on the move, but can often sit for a couple hours while waiting to work on the mod some more.

New issue. After installing Lings and this mod my animations completely broke. This issue was non existant until I made a new toon. When I tried to draw a weapon she just twitched paralytically. Ditto for Vats.

Have to reinstall. . . Advice to others back up your entire data directory before Lings and this mod are installed in case you get the same glitch. It's literally rendered the game unplayable.

Not pointing any fingers as it may just be the combination of mods I'm running but having to reinstall 26+ mods and FNV really sucks hard. - Borch1d

Ps: Thanks for the attention to these issues singlar. Once I get it running well you'll have my endorsement.

I had no issues running this mod since I was already using the Lings mod.

Only thing is that when using the mod in game where you already had regular ed-e you end up with both it and this one. So right now I'm running around with 2 versions of ED-E and Cass. XD

If you do have regular ED-E when first using this mod its recommended you dont try talking to it. I tried and it caused me to get slightly disembodied and no longer able to go into third person view. I reloaded game without the mod and had regular ED-E leave back to primm. I then saved and reloaded with the mod on again. Was able to find and repair new ED-E after that and both versons joined me.

I'm not sure if I automatically got an upgraded version of her since I had already done ED-E's quest, Is there anyway to tell? If not I dont think I can do the quest again, or at least it hasnt been triggered by anything.

I did some customization to her on my game. Messed around with her face model a bit, changed hair colour to a more unnatural colour and edited the texture for her eyes. See my screenshot I added to the gallery.

@Singular: if you want the eye texture I made to be include in the mod I'd be glad to share it, along with my edited version of her face if you want that aswell.

The Ed-E original disappeared on me a few times in play particularly around the player home in Novac.

Ok, she's disappearing regularly now. It happens whenever I leave an indoor area to an outdoor area (and there is an autosave). On the other hand, if I go from outdoor to indoor, she exhibits another odd behavior: when I enter the building, she runs up from the opposite side of the room (instead of appearing next to or behind me from the same door). It doesn't happen 100%, but quite often.

So, I guess when we move from in -> out, the same thing is happening, but she's flung FAR away (all the way to Black Mountain).

Need help! did all the ling downloads and stuff. fixed her using parts. now all she does is stand there and say hello verbally. i talk to her and only option is "Log off"? im confused!

The reason I used Ling's is that he has it set as an .esm As such, I can make it a master of my mod. The other hair mods were not set as .esm and the GECK was not saving their hairdos in the custom race, nor that hair mod as a master. I'm still looking for the work around, and will probably have to create a .bsa to make it work.

#kimyojo - Not sure, I know there is a glitch where if you log off it loops back once or twice, which looking at the script I don't see a reason why it would do that. Did you already have ED-E active as a companion? Try downloading th e mod manager and running this mod towards the end of the mod list.

The scripts are NOT changed, other than I removed some of the baseline NPC stuff to make her seem more robotic (e.g., human NPC's will turn and follow you with their gaze, unchecked that option so ED-E will seem less lifelike). Other than that, any bug inherent in the original script (and ED-E was far from a non-buggy companion) is still there.

I am testing the 'ED-E doesn't wait' fix right now.
