rolsly
Hi. Not sure whether I am posting this in the right place or not (perhaps troubleshooting would be better...) but anyway, I wonder if anyone could help me. I'm trying to make a simple mod that replaces the voices and sounds made by draugrs, unfortunately I'm sorry to say that I am a bit of a modding noob... and I have no idea how to do this. I have the sound files I wish to used saved in WAV format, but aside from that I have no idea what to do. Has anyone got any tips? Thanks !
piotrmil
Sound is handled in skyrim in its own specific way. Skyrim uses FUZ files, which are compressed XWM files put together with lip movement LIP file. Use tools like MultiXwm to convert your WAV to xwm, then load them up with the WAV files, and in the dialogue options choose "generate LIP file". Then use unfuzer to fuse xwm and lip together. This of course assumes you know how to use the dialogue options. This tutorial should help you. Edited February 20, 2015 by piotrmil
