Devran22 Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 Everything was fine till this afternoon, up till then I've been playing fine. This afternoon when I tried to start skse, from mod organiser, it launched and the black box came up but it wouldn't actually start up. I reinstalled skse and it worked again. Then this evening I tried and wouldn't start up and I checked and saw that in task manager, when I start skse via mod organiser, it is as a background process not an application. How do I solve this! Just because I am paranoid, I have a desktop icon for the skse launcher, and that is what I use- never from NMM or Wrye.Remember to have Steam running in the background before launching SKSE.Other than that I have no clue. Something to do with the new steam update and possibly specific to windows 8 or 8.1 users. Read this topic, it's exactly the same issue your having and I've already answered it.
