Hello to all the regulars here, I have a small question about curing the werewolf state and it's effect on "the ring" (it's a bit of a spoiler for some, read no further if you have no idea what the ring is).
If I cured lycanthropy by going to the Raven and following the steps, afterwards will I be able to use the ring that is obtained at the end of the main quest? As the witches put it "You are now immune to the diasease and can never turn into a werewolf". Anyone know if this applies to the powers of the ring?
I personally haven't tried it with the console cheats because one never knows how that is representative of all the events leading up to obtaining the actual ring. So I am asking purely about the non-console way of obtaining the ring. Thanks.
P.S: And if one were to obtain the ring as a werewolf, how does this affect the rings power? Will one still be forced to turn into a werewolf every night and the ring would only affect you in that it let's you do it during the day as well? Or would it now mean total control over when to transform (even fi the effect still lasts the standard nine hours) as if one had obtained it during the human side of the quests?
I've read the attachment on top and what not, but just wanted to ask about some points I haven't seen mentioned before.
The cure and the ring.

I don't think it would cause any problems. I'm pretty sure the ring works indepent of whether you actually have Sanis Lupus or not.
BTW, I found out for a fact that while the game and the cure you obtain say you won't catch the disease, I've already beaten the main quest and thus far have gotten the disease all over again twice! Since I had the ring and no desire to stress myself again with cures and eating people (on purpose) I cured myself of the disease and now rely solely on the ring during my adventures in Solteim and Morrowind.
