kjagefd7 Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) Hey guys, I am on my third failed playthrough of Skyrim and have run into a frustrating problem which normally signals either a bad load order or a missing mod:When I start Skyrim I get the Bethesda logo, the dump back to the desktop.In my case I don't believe it's a bad load order or a missing mod for three reasons:1) The problem didn't surface until I reached level 50.2) If I restart Skyrim enough times it will work (usually 30 tries).3) I check the load order with both LOOT & TES5EDIT. I use Skyrim Script Extender 1.7.1 and Nexus Mod Manager 0.53.2 Does anyone have any suggestions on this? SYSTEM SPECS:Mainboard: Asus P6T-SE BIOS 0908CPU: I7 930 2.8GHz (not overclocked)6GB RAMVideo card: Nvidia GTX 480 (driver 344.75, not overclocked) HDMI Audio built in to video card. LOOT LOG:Can someone tell me how to paste this here. I keep picking "Paste as plain text" and then "Allow Access" but it won't work? Sakev Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Okay, well, I don't think being level 50 is related, because as I understand it you're having a problem getting the game to start at all, not a problem getting a specific character save to load. First, have you looked at this video by user Gopher? - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/videos/140/? If that doesn't solve the problem, we'll continue on to other possible solutions.
