DavidBowman Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 This is a problem I've been having for a few months now, and it's pretty much made playing Skyrim almost impossible. I've looked all over t'internet, and no-one has mentioned this specific issue: constantly getting ILS (infinite loading screen) when loading games outside (in Skyrim). I can fast travel, load the game from the main menu and do COCs where-ever with a lightning-fast load, but if I try to load a game while standing outside, no matter where it is, I always get an infinite loading screen. I tried cleaning the master files; using SMME or what-ever it's called, nothing. Then I tried disabling and enabling every mod I've had one-by-one and it seems to be texture mods causing it. Problem is, I can't find a single mod causing it. I've got a lot of mods so I don't really want to paste every one of them in, but I will if necessary. A few of them are Tamriel Reloaded, Skyrim Flora Overhaul and pretty much the entire aMidianBorn series. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

vlaka Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 how to ask for helpare you using skse with it's memory tweaks and enboost? Depending on your system specs i'd dump the texture mods and see if the problem persists.Also if using mods which populate areas with npc's, enemies etc a bashed patch is in order. DavidBowman Posted March 2, 2015 Author Share Posted March 2, 2015 (edited) I spent a decent amount of money on my PC; it can run things like BF4 at full graphics quality on constant 60fps, I'm using ENB-boost, SKSE and the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. It might be a compatibility issue. I also use the Populated Cities mod which adds extra random characters to cities, which come and go. Are there any issues with such mods?I know that Skyrim has problems with HD textures, this is reinforced by my game running fine without any texture mods.
