cyns Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 howdy, very much a noob here with a prob. lost 3 custom followers in winterhold (Poet, Merura, and Skuld. all from nexus site). they will not fast travel or follow, but can be found healthy and well, fighting dragons, guards and random Magic Anomalies (they went on their own after 'containment' quest). nothing in their dialogue menu is helpful, unresponsive to follower mod dragon shouts or requests to gather at home (breezehome)just started replaying skyrim last week and just discovered mods, so everything i have installed has been fresh from Nexus (only site i've used) so i'm assuming uptodate, using NMM ONLY (to avoid mucking stuff up manually). everything has been moving smoothly until now.so ...how do i get my followers back? custom followers -Poet http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45862/?Merura http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58867/?Skuld http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40925/? follower mods -UFO http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14037/?EFF http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12933/?my home is your home http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18045/?followers can relax http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9504/? using most recent NMM, SKSE, Steam, Vanilla Skyrim install. my computer may not be new, but it's exceded Skyrim/steam's recommended requirements and it's handled the game flawlessly so far (on my way to Laby to retrieve staff of magnus) i'm not th brightest fella, but i've tried some basic stuff. i don't know how to get a true ID from console command (3 attempts on Poet with 3 different returns), and i'm a lil scared of muckin things up worse i can try to answer any questions if asked, but i'd really like to resolve this soon.many thnx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Oubliette Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 I'm pretty sure UFO and EFF aren't really meant to be used together and if you updated either of them without following their specific update instructions then that's probably your problem. Revert to a save before you udpated those mods, pick one or the other and carefully follow their update instructions on the mod's description page or in their readme file. strawbqwerty Posted March 2, 2015 Share Posted March 2, 2015 I use a combination of eff and followers live package. Can`t recomend it enough. Follow live package has a option to work with eff. So you insstall eff first then follower live package. Allows yor followers to do all sorts of stuff like shop for you, change clothes for different events like swiming, fighting, sleeping etc. You can group them and have one as the leader of the group. That though did not go well for me. Three followers . Made one the leader. Stupid wench dsmissed the other two followers and left .
