DucksAreReal
-Tried setting their combat style to Mage in EFF-Set their Combat Style csHumanMagic in CK-Follower has Novice level spells (Flames)-Only uses Conjure Weak Flame Atronach then proceeds to beat down the enemy with their fists. Anyone know why?
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
Does the follower have higher then novice destruction skill? Most cases (not all) I find the npc will only use what their skill is based on, along with how much magika they have. Most things I find is the npc will use what ever will cause more damage, also can be affected by their AI Aggression. If the mpc's hands can cause more damage then the novice destruction spell, then they'll more then likely use their hands (if they have nothing else)
DucksAreReal
He has a destruction skill of 19 so I'm pretty sure that's enough for casting Flames

saurusmaximus
Try setting their combat style to combatMageElemental or CombatMageDestruction
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
He has a destruction skill of 19 so I'm pretty sure that's enough for casting FlamesI'm not referring to a skill level lower to use novice flames.I'm referring that his skill level may be to high and thus just does not use the low level novice spell. But 19 does not sound like that's the situation.Makes me laugh as I use a melee or archer type follower, never even bother changing their class and I give them a spell and they use it providing:1) they have enough magika2) Their skill is good enough to use it3) it does more damage then anything else they have. In most cases I have to remove the spell from them just so they will use their native class skills.Seems like I get the opposite of what you get.
