I made mine near nellis on the intersection so its easier to spot raids.

I made my fort on top of the Goodsprings Cemetary, height advantage, steep and uneven terrain around the sides, flat on the top. Also comes with fences, road connecting to it.

This is probably stupid... but I made mine in the NE in the intersection of the road leading to Jacobstown and Highway 95

mine was fr opposite of ranger station charlie follow the vally to the other end and set up shop there only 2 ways the enemy can come and i have given my 3 guards power armour and we have handled super mutants with a handicap of +36

and btw heres a idea i use to keep my important buildings safe (com tower, generrator, and pump)
put metal fences and stack it so enemys cant kill it and with com tower get it to a high place out of reach (on a high ledge use tcl if possible) and btw does anyone know ho to reset all robots

I decided to place my fortress in the large destroyed building next to Mick and Ralphs in Freeside

The enemy spawn points are set so they don't cross paths with any important npc's.

Now im thinking of making one in the strip so the natural securitrons and drunk NCR soldiers can help me during raids.

just saw the trailer and realised that i built my fort in almost the exact location

i built my fort just east of the mojave outpost, near the old abandoned plane. lots of room for buildings, but the occasional gecko and radscorpions spawns in.

a good spot could be on top of camp guardian: it has a pathway that goes to the top of the mountain so it gives me the chance to "fall back" to the top
