Great khan encampment, overlooking the quarry, awesome place to build the fort, it has four plateau levels each one of them can be easily gated for extra security, placed guard towers in the middle level with access from the upper level and with stairs from the middle level, i got the supply and the generator on the level in top. when i finish, it will be the minas thirith of the mojave.

I had this crazy idea earlier on: Build a fort on top of the Bison Steve Hotel roof. And I finally managed to make it up there without killing myself (requires a few tricky jumps and ledge hugging.)

I'm working on making ramps down to the Vikki And Vance Casino building, so I can have more guards.

Raiders can't get up, though... I'll have to build them a ramp. It's no fun if they are literally unable to reach the fort.

Dry lake also, place all the boundaries together to have the raids spawn together.

Using Brahmin Bess I was able to Make A platform in the middle of the colorado river. About Half Way to the Main Platform I put down a Double Gated Fence so that If the Raiders actually got close to the Town I could open the Fence which would just drop them into the River.

Because I'm anti-cheat when doing stuff that can be done normally. The Bison's rooftop isn't that hard to get to. Just have to be careful with slipping and falling to your death (or at least to the crippling of your legs.)

I started my fort in the NCRCF compound (with a little bit of tweaking with the GECK(cleaned up some clutter and removed the visitor building and added appropriate navmeshes so guards (and raiders) can move freely.)

With its ready-built walls and guard towers, the position is fairly easy to defend and I intend (once I figure out how to stop WD guards from killing RTS villagers) to turn it into a full-blown settlement.

I built my base at Nellis, mainly because the area on the runway is flat. Basically my base is between the water towers and the boarded up barracks. Raiders can make it in, far. So it makes the whole thing a little challanging.

I built mine at the Springs Ranch State Park. Nice green area with lake. In the back of the lake is also the Underground Bunker mod. The picnic tables placed there are a nice touch as well as building fires in the BBQ pits!

I built my fort right next to the 188 Trading Post, like south of it down the road on an open plain. Reason being is so that I can have some place to get supplies and stuff, as well as some help with the raids from the guys at the post. Got myself a double gate and double wall set up around my fort. Also just put a small opening at the back wall for a little challenge and back entrance. Pretty sweet fort imo

I built mine into the underpass between Hunters Farm and the rock crushing plant. Easily defended, nicely hidden, and with a few guard towers on ground level its easy to pick off raiders. Plus the space under the bridges is enough to hold 2 floors.
