Image upload file size bug

When you go to upload an image. It says you may only upload .jpg etc formats with a max file size of 1.5MB. But then when you try to click enter a file size bigger it gives an error above the image title bar that says, "Could not upload image, the size limit for images is 2MB and file size limit is 250MB." Or something along those lines. You get what I am saying though and of course you would test to see for yourself. But why such a low limit anyways? I maybe understand the file size (even though 250MB for an entire file is still pretty low), but could you not make image sizes up to 5MB? For converted images of better quality and higher resolution and colour quality landscapes.

 

Edit: WOAH! There is a 100KB file size limit for profile pictures. Like we are supposed to create thumbnails specific, we can not just use any image and have the site format it? That kinda stinks.

 

And that is saying that the actual "bug" is the discrepency between actual max file size when uploading the image.
