Project Description:

 

Who we are;

Aegean Studios is a new-born baby of The Aegean Community, We were formed because people inside the community,

wanted to create mods together.

 

How we do things;

TAC (The Aegean Community) has used Google Docs, since they came about in early December 2014, We feel that having multiple people allowed to edit the same document, and for it to be updated so quickly, that is put what we discuss onto "virtual" paper.

TAC has a policy within all their sub-groups that anyone can contribute.

To meetings, for either their sub-group or the community itself.

To game-play changes,

etc..

Project Story/Lore:

The main aim of Aegean Studios is that of creating a fully functioning Dwemer City/Stronghold, like Markarth, but not corrupt and having a better quest.

Staying with the lore of a "real" Dwemer city, but with Imperials as the inhabitants. (imperials as in the race, not the faction)

 

This Dwemer city will have the following;

 

**!! NONE OF THIS IS COMPLETED !!** This is just the idea/concept

 

Internal spaces:

- Steam Pumps

- Steam Rooms

- Living Area w/ Restaurant

- Main Hall

- Armory (Dwarven Armor only)

- Guard quarters

- Character Homes

- Training Area

- Main Entrance - Having to go through "customs"

- Side Entrance - Blocked

- Stables

- A few homes

 

Stronghold Name: Delkrak

 

Characters;

Families:

- The Falkak Family (Leaders of Delkrak) - Imperial

Kilaim Falkak - Elder of the Family.

Ellond Falkak - Wife of the Elder.

Brielus Falkak - Son of the Elder. - Able to Marry

Andreas Falkak - Daughter of the Elder. - Able to Marry

- The Marsus Family (Warriors and Hunters) - Imperial

Vitus Marsus - Elder of the Family.

Aerin Marsus - Wife of the Elder.

Zedrick Marsus - Son of the Elder. - Able to Marry

Roloda Marsus - Daughter of the Elder. - Able to Marry

- The Pinarus Family (Mages and Researchers) - Altmer

Ganlas Pinarus - Elder of the Family.

What's the current team and their positions?

 

And you may want to flesh out the idea yourself some to present it - "Dwemer city like Markarth but not corrupt and with a better quest" isn't much to go on.

What are you asking, sorry.

 

The current team is;

Me - Level Design, Story-writer and Character Creation.

Parker - Story-writer.

 

I will be doing all of the mod, unless we get more interest.

Parker has some ideas, but doesn't know anything about the CK. I am just posting to get some positive feedback on our story and the feel of the first stages of Development. Parker looking only at the lore and the accountability of the story.

I'm wondering if that's all you currently have to go on for story or if you've got a more concrete idea. Do you want writers so you can flesh out the MAIN idea (figure it out) or just add to it?

I would say that, yes, and to give us a different aspect or view on the story.

 

Basically the story (so far) is that there are Four Families in Delkrak ("Dell-Crack")

Falkak, Marsus and Pinarus. The Falkak, being the founders/pioneers. and the Dwemer/Dwarven City, is peaceful... on the outside, with the families having some sort of back-story and with dragonborn finding this out, though the quests, Also the dragon-born/player could choose whether to get involved. (an' to just buy and sell good etc..)

Either I am having a déjà-vu or the lackadaisical whelp and I have told you this already:

 

1. Unless you have work to show, serious work and great work, no one will join you. period.

2. Even if you do have great work to show chances are very slim, as capable folks are busy with their own projects.

 

All you have is a bare-bones idea (and a fancy name for your "studio").

 

I am not saying this to be a jerk but with a matter of fact voice. Building a team comes long after somewhat mastering your craft, not at the beginning.

I would like know if it is possible and maybe the steps to doing the following:

 

I would like, the player to only be able to enter the middle "Door". And to have the Left and Right Doors Locked, until the player has talked to Kilaim Falkrak

 

How would I do this:

- Scripting? If so, which language?

or

- Referencing the Door(s) to the Leader (Kilaim Falkrak) in the CK?

For scripting, language is Papyrus. Add a script fragment in the NPC response dialogue window.

The script should of course do the deed, e.g. give the player character the key to that doors.

 

Do you have any guess-timates how much time your city will take to develop?
