Hey fellow Skyrim fans and modders!

So.. I need suggestions for mods. I reinstalled, and am ready to start fresh. I'll get into that, but first, let me tell you my little story so you have an idea of what I'm looking for.

I love Skyrim. Always have. Though recently, I've been obsessing over Dark Souls, and Dark Souls 2. I just now picked up Skyrim again.. And it feels dull.. My Skyrim was heavily modded with 70+ mods, all running smoothly. Graphics, Combat, Perk Overhauls, New Weapons, New Armor, Falskaar and Moonpath.. All tweaked just right. Though, after I finished my Souls binge, coming back to Skyrim, I feel like it's foreign. The combat feels hack and slash, there's no thrill in killing bosses or looting dungeons. I caught what is called 'The Souls Bug'. It's where playing dark souls for too long, makes other games feel really dull, and sub-par. Where there isn't that heartpounding thrill of killing a boss that murdered you 50 times, and just not fun anymore.. not Skyrim, please not Skyrim.

SO! I am starting from scratch. I reinstalled skyrim, and deleted ALL of my data and mods. I would like to enlist the help of you guys (The best community of modders ever). What do ya'll say? Wanna help an old fan make Skyrim into something fresh?

Yes? GREAT!
Okay, first off, I'm gonna try and keep this thread organized. I will make a small list of areas that I want to touch in Skyrim, and ask for Mod suggestions, pros and cons, and such.
I haven't modded much, just got it right for my tastes back then, and kept them that way. SO, you guys know many of the newer, or updated mods.
Let's hop in.

Atmosphere: I am not too into graphics mods. My computer can handle most, but they're not a priority.
For graphics, I would like to find some mods that change the atmosphere more than the textures. I'll probably just get Skyrim HD, or Tamriel Reloaded. After that, I just need help finding awesome lighting mods, as well as weather mods that are all work well together.

Combat: Alright, here's the tough part.. this is my biggest problem upon returning to Skyrim. I'm trying to find the perfect combo of combat mods, and Enemy AI mods to make the combat overall more challenging. I would like something that overhauls the entirety of Combat in skyrim. Less hack and Slash, more strategic, yet still slightly Elder Scrollsish. I have no clue what mods to look at in this area..

Mechanics: Here I just need to find mods that change the feel of the games mechanics. Like, perks, Health and Stamina. Casting. Arrows and weapon Damage. Things like that. I want some of the features SkyrRe has, like perks and encumbrance, but it wasn't an option before, as I had a hard time getting the reproccer working properly. So all my weapon damages were conflicting with custom weapon mods like Immersive weapons..
I tried and tried, but couldn't get that to work properly, so I would rather just avoid it all around, unless there are compatibility patches or something? I don't know... moving on. (Too lazy for Reproccer ;-

More NPC's: Here, I just need a few suggestions for NPC's. Ones that add some, but not an overwhelming number. I loved War-Zones, and would like to get it again. but I'm thinking more of, encounters. And in-city characters. More NPC's to interact with and talk to. Things like that.

Quests and Locations: Not much here. Just high quality mods that add awesome quests and locations to expand on the Skyrim experience(or whats left of it.. lol) Falskaar and Moonpath to Elyswere are good examples. Both quite well done.

Additional Items: Weapon packs, Armor Packs, and more items to find and use! This was the tricky part for me, as compatibility was hard to get right. I LOVE lore-friendly things. So, yes. Pllleeeeease no 'sexy armor' or 'superheroes in skyrim'. Not my thing. Suggestions very much appreciated.

Player Homes: Well, I don't know... It's hard to find ONE that I would just want for any playthrough... Jaggarsfeld was my favorite.. any suggestions out there? Something functional, lore-friendly, and still cozy? Not mansions.. or 'Magically Mine'. I usually avoid home mods, as they break the 'earn your way' feel.If you have suggestions, I'm open to them regardless.

Character Mods: Mods to help the players and npc's look at a little better. Not crazy, or 'Sexy'. Just, better. Body mods are a no, as I think Skyrims models, though low-res, look just fine.

Well.... If you've read this far, I thank you. I really want to enjoy this game, but I don't think I will ever enjoy vanilla Skyrim the way I once did. THANK YOU so much for taking your time to try and help. If you have some mod suggestions, that you think match my standards, please, leave them below in the fashion I organized them above.
Again, I thank you guys! My fellow Skyrim community people!
