I don't have Skyrim and a companion mod is a really complex thing. Maybe you should ask in the Skyrim section, if there is someone willing to do it.

Real life is cruesome right now. I don't have time for modding at the moment but I try to write the dialogues with pen and paper whenever I have some little time to spare. Hopefully it will get better any time soon but i can't promise anything.

It's been a while since I've visited this page... xD Hope stuff is goin' well. I'm still using our boy Dai. He tends to get into fights with guards though... Anyway, I'd be happy to help you out with some aspects of the story, if you'd like. For instance, mayhaps having assassins appear (i guess in the same script that his sister appeared) that were created and sent by Daiass to kill you both and assume the mission of hunting down his sister. -shrug- Maybe the assassin is a new paladin that has the ability to overpower Dai. Meh. He's still mah tall follower. And I'm still obsessed with Flan's demon race xD

Hi! I was just wondering what faction a bed needs to belong to for Dairanath to be able to sleep in it?

As far as I remember, the bed shouldn't have an owner at all.

Well, I reckon its high time I made a comment to let you know you have another Dairanath fan here. From the moment I noticed my little naive, goody goody wood elf looking up at him with the biggest, stupidest grin on her face I knew it was meant to be. This is the only Companion mod I have and I couldn't even think of looking for any others now. I do have a couple of questions if I may, for anyone who can answer.
Question #1:. Sometimes, for some reason he'll put on his I'm-not-doing-anything-you-say-today pants and wander off shirtless, shoeless and determined to reach my too-cosy Bruma home. Even if its raining! Again! Typically this happens when I've used the Companion spell to get him off the TARDIS. (Did I mention my Bosmer is the Doctor?) Understandable mod oddity there. But he also randomly does it when going through the large tower doors on the planes of Oblivion. On one occasion he even punched out a clannifer as he moseyed off. This behavior has also happened once or twice when quick traveling on the shivering isles and using the summon spell to get him to me since he won't travel with. It's amusing and doesn't seem to be messing up his dialogues, and it sure is nice to watch him saunter off half naked (rawr), but I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this.
aand Question #2: I am very close to running out of things to do in the game, and the last dialogue we had was a game day ago where mean ol Kitty made him sad by asking about pets. I'm worried I'll actually be content starved before I see this thing out, and for that reason I'm also concerned about some of the choices I made when speaking to him, since its quite possible Kitty may have to slip into periodic comas to finish his questline if I can't find something else to occupy her. I think it would break my Bosmer's itty bitty heart in two if she never made the romantic interest cut, not with the way she smiles at him. I am not the most flirty person in the world so I'm scared I'll make the wrong choice, or already have at some point ages ago and that I've spent all this time actually letting my character sleep at night for nothing. So, will I absolutely know it when I see it? The big decision that is. Or do all the choices matter, and if they do, is there any way to know if my wood elf is on her way to the friend zone instead?

1. As far as the Oblivion gates and the Shivering Isles are concerned, they've always been a headache when it comes to companions. Most mod authors that have released companions tell you to have your companion wait outside of it and use the console or a summon spell to get them in. Then do the same when you leave. Otherwise they can lose their inventory and I suppose their scripting could get wonky as well. Otherwise, it could just be a mod conflict somewhere, as I don't have any recollection of him doing that to me over a few playthroughs, and I brought him into the Oblivion gates with me each time.
2. The dialogues are scripted to start every few days. I'm not a patient person, so I just sat in one of my houses and waited for 24-hour periods until he walked up to me for another talk when I wanted to see content. I just imagined my character was doing research on her magic and alchemy in the meantime. As far as starting the romance, the romance-initiating responses are easy to pick out. If he's only just told you about his pet, then you haven't reached that point yet, from what I remember. I don't know if previous dialogue has any effect on this, but I'm pretty sure that as long as you weren't rude to him you should be fine. I chose mostly kind, concerned responses up to that point and had no problems. Don't think there was much flirting to be done with him in conversation yet.
