imaginarycheese Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Let me start by saying i have no idea where to put this. Okay now let me start with my problem. I was unsatisfied with my performance in certain places, so i went and got this thing called Skyrim performance patch. Little did i know it was going to downscale the vegetation textures to an unacceptable level, I thought it was going to just remove some unneeded excessive grasses. So i was pretty mad, and was able to fix the grass and plant textures, but the crappy trees remain. I tried so many things, eventually doing a full reinstall. That did not help. So, in a last ditch effort, i downloaded Skyrim flora overhaul and took the textures from the archive and pasted them into my data folder, loaded up the game and came to find that the SFO textures just plopped themselves right on top of the dumpy ones, so i ended up with trees that had crappy looking branches and good branches. I really wouldn't come and ask for help if i was was completely lost and had no other ideas of what i could do to fix this mess i have made. Please help me someone... EDIT: So i was able to get bigger trees to work with the SFO textures through some googleing and finding a few .ini tweaks. Thanks to all the people that tried to help me in chat last night.
