screaminseahawk
After several months of no CTD issues on my laptop, I have had non-stop CTD issues, mainly at the game loading screen. I am still a newb at the technical end but I have used every performance helping mod that I can think of, LOOT (of course), the Skyrim Save Tool, and a texture organizer. But someone recently told me that he gets around the same issue by starting a new game, saving it right away, and then loading old saves. This surprisingly works! But I don't understand why it works. And it's pretty annoying to have to do it. Does that signal an issue that anyone can think of? I am using the RealLike ENB (Performance Version). I love this ENB for laptops as it is very performance-friendly and still makes the game look really nice. Are there any settings I should change possibly in the enb ini's that would help the CTD issues on a normal startup? Here are my laptop specs: i5-4210U 1.7 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7 GHzNVIDIA GeForce 840M with 2 GB VRAM8 GB DDR3 Memory Any ideas would be very appreciated!
