Small question, making water act like the sea

I'm working on my big mod again, und seeing as it is an Island in the middle of the Ocean, I'd love to make the water around the beaches act like it was the ocean

Can anyone help me out on how to do this? Or isn't this possible with the Water Noise Textures?
