CTD While Saving

I am doing the Dawnguard Questline, and I'm on the quest where I can choose whether to become a Vampire, or remain human. However, after I leave the island with Castle Volikhar, I cannot save at all. This Includes: Fast Travel, Waiting, Entering/Exiting buildings, quicksave and a regular save. Whenever I disable saving, I can do these things, so this is definitely the Issue.

What do you mean *whenever I disable saving* ? Does this happen on a new or older save game as well?

You can go into the settings menu and disable Save on Rest, Travel and Wait. And this only happens after I leave Castle Volkihar. I can save before and inside the castle, and on that island. But when I go back to Fort Dawnguard/Redwater den, I can't save. This happens everywhere. I entered the console command "coc riverwood" after leaving the castle, tried to save, and it crashed.

How large is your save game file? (the one in your documents/games/skyrim folder) There is a maximum size a save game can have before this starts to happen. (give me the size of the last four saves you made)

Also give me your level.

Okay that looks fine. Does the problem happen on a new or older save game?

I've had something like this happen and whatever it was corrupted my save. The autosave on travel, viewing inventory, or waiting would CTD. It even started happening when looting, that's when I knew my current game had gone as far as it was going. However, I didn't know about save game cleaning at that time. I honestly don't know if that would help but maybe something to try.

Huh? I wasn't asking if your save is old or new, I'm asking if it happens when you MAKE a new save or load up an older save game.
