Anyone else out there played/playing this?

What is going on with that Raven/Matthew, is it a bug or is there really no correct answer to it's question? I feel like strangling the bloody thing.

Matthew is part of a quest you can get from Crowley (the bird is one of his missing acts) but the quest is only available to humans afik because Crowley is a bigot. Non-humans can grab the bird and he will show up in the new camp (but not the old one.)

I've got the quest, but in 5 playthroughs there doesn't seem to be a correct answer to his riddle and I'm really peed off now I enjoy a good puzzle, but that bird seems pointless I think there should be a mod to ring it's neck. I usually grab the damned thing and give it back, but I've never seen it around camp, is that because I've given it back?
