If anyone here has had a problem with the script editor program under CSE 6.2 crashing, please let me know. I am running OBSE v21 under my Mod development environment.

If I edit the Attribute Name Strings in the settings menu they don't change in the status screen. Is there something to this or is there a menu or texture file I have to change?

I installed CSE a couple of days ago and finally got it running right, I think, a few min. ago. The first problem I overcame was the missing msvcp###.dll files. These dll's seem to be missing from the current Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redist (vcredist_x86.exe) pointed to by ShadeMe's Construction Set Extender Readme.rft. After installing, uninstalling and reinstalling the 2012 redist several times I decided to try an older version. It took some time but I finally found one at http://download.micr...credist_x86.exe. The old VS2012 redist package got CSE up and running but I soon ran into the CTD when trying to edit a script, like several others here seem to have encountered. I didn't have d3d9.dll in my Oblivion folder and nothing else that's helped anyone else seemed to work for me. I eventually solved the script editor CTD problem through an act of desperation. In the Construction Set Extender.log I found an exception when CSE tried to load ScriptEditor.Preprocessor.dll (Exception: Could not load file or assembly 'ScriptEditor.Preprocessor). Simply recopying ScriptEditor.Preprocessor.dll from the original CSE zip file to Oblivion\Data\OBSE\plugins\CSE fixed the CTD on script edit problem for me. I don't know about anyone else but it's been a long time since a bit fell into the bit bucket during a file copy/paste operation for me.
Hopefully this will help someone else get CSE up and running.
I want to shout out a big THANKS to ShadeMe, CSE appears to be a piece of true programming art.
