Fallout 3/New Vegas Graphics where terrible, so instead of complaining about it I decided to Make a mod also as a Personal Graphics Design Project: Fallout New Vegas Extreme Graphics Overhaul (FNV EGO). Started this mod about one and a half years ago, I started with Fallout 3...Anyway, here is the trailer. Note: English is not my first language.

Everything looks excellent except for the obnoxious sharpening. Some of the textures just have too much noise.

Hey something just occurred to me. Will this mod improve fire and flame effects? The flamer could definitely use some of those sexy smoke decals and some fire decals like on those explosions.

Sweet Jesus....Gives me the motivation I need to buy an Alienware. Looks God-damn amazing, like something from Avatar. I can see this becoming the highest rated mod on FNVNexus, maybe even the whole Nexus network!

I have two problems with this.

1) New Vegas was already a pretty graphics hungry game. I imagine this to need more power than Crysis 2 will need.

2) The file will be huge. Bigger than the Sun. Meaning only the people with Fibre Optic Broadband will be able to experience this, really. Unless your followers have more patience than an applicant of the Space Program.

However, this does make me want to do something unspeakable to myself. I'll be looking forward to this release.
