kvintanzil Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) I think i just hit the 3.1GB engine limit but i'm not sure, i use many mods installed and usually it's a mod that added Immersion or Improvement to the game system... maybe i'm doing it too far because i have 248 plug-ins detected on my NMM right now! (including the compatibility patches) first of all my computer spec is quite decent i believe, Intel i5 4590 @3.30 GHz, 4GB of RAM and GTX 650 1GB i don't use any heavy graphical mods and usually i will only choose LITE version or Half resolution (512, 1k and max 2k) and running this on 1024x768 resolution on High setting i don't use ENB and only use SKSE and have the SSME in SKSE.ini enabled.. i've never edit the skyrimprefs.ini and only edit the skyrim.ini for Skyrim Flora Overhaul (texture=7 and iMinGrassSize=40) the game itself run very smooth, i play with vSync on and have constant 75 fps in the interior and 60 fps in exterior, but whenever i enter combat mode with decent crowd the game keep freezing after 5 minutes in combat so i assume i'm hitting the engine limit or the script is gone wild during combat? here's all the mod i use and it's load order GameMode=SkyrimSkyrim.esm=1Update.esm=1Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=1Dawnguard.esm=1Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1HearthFires.esm=1Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1Dragonborn.esm=1Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1Skyrim Project Optimization - saurusmaximus Posted May 22, 2015 Share Posted May 22, 2015 Generally, the newer versions of the binaries will work with presets that were made with older versions; so the SOS v.262 will probably work if you get the latest binaries. If for some reason it doesn't, it's easy enough to d/l the correct binaries and use those; the speedhack thing has been part of the binaries for quite a while now so don't worry about that. If you are...when you crash go check how much Vram you are using if it says 99%then you don't have enough Vram to run Skyrim with that many mods..it will crashespecially when you enter heavily modded grids...try entering Windhelm see how it doesusually that's a really heavily graphical area. If you are...when you crash go check how much Vram you are using if it says 99%then you don't have enough Vram to run Skyrim with that many mods..it will crashespecially when you enter heavily modded grids...try entering Windhelm see how it doesusually that's a really heavily graphical area. no i don't i did not crash during combat, only freeze when battling with crowd of people.. usually 5 minutes or more after the battle has started. i have tried every city using Live Another Life mod and i can run them without any problem, although when i tried to fight some guards (6 or more) then the freeze happen even though my FPS is stable at 55~ (freeze also happen sometime if i open inventory to check my items or when selecting items in blacksmith shop / when i tried to craft some items in the forge although this is quite rare) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
