dadfel Posted May 25, 2015 Share Posted May 25, 2015 I've been chasing this problem for a week now with no progress. Whenever I enter some dungeon (i.e. Bleak Falls Barrow) my FPS will drop from 60 to 7 and then slowly continue dropping to 2. You can't play this game at 7 fps, much less 2 fps. I've been using Skyrim Performance Monitor to track my system usage and when the fps drops, so does the GPU usage. When I'm not in a dungeon the fps stays fairly constant at 60 fps and the GPU usage stays about 25 to 30 percent. Also, when I'm in a dungeon (and the fps is way down) and I open a menu (any menu) the fps jumps back up to 60 and stays there until I close the menu, then it falls back to 7 or so. If anyone has seen this problem, or can suggest a fix, it would be greatly appreciated.
