tesGamin
So I am moding a house and inside I have decorated the way I want but I am now having an issue with keeping things where I want them, I walk by a shelf and things explode off of it. I set down at a table and 1/2 the glasses get thrown to the floor. How do you "glue" things down? I have tried putting Collision Cubes around the items but that didn't help. There are days I hate Havok! How do you keep your items where you place them? Thanks for any help!
notmyhome
Either you need to cap your FPS at 60 or if you've already tried that, use Jaxonz Positioner
tesGamin
I never knew that FPS would effect Havok Phy. Is that really true?
notmyhome
I know limiting the FPS has helped many people suffering from the "poltergeist syndrome". If it'll help in your case is not guaranteed. But yes, Havok is tied to FPS in some way I as a non-programmer cannot understand.
skinnytecboy
In the CK render window, right click on an object in question and tick the "do not havoc settle" button. (That may not be the actual name, but you get the idea). You can also create collision panes around objects to stop them being touched if that helps. tesGamin
@SkinnyTecBoy - I did the "Don't Havok Settle" and did the Collision planes but somtime when I set down it will still make everything fly. I just gave up and made static versions of everything ... only way to "Glue" them down it seems. :wallbash: @NotMyHome - I will looking to the FPS limiting. More for curiosity than anything else. Thanks for the help.

That's exactly what this tool was designed for, glueing stuff to walls.
Noortje
He is modding a house I doubt he wants to require people to need to use that mod. Besides it's a big hassle to use it on every single item one by one.
