StateWaffles
Something I've noticed with my heavily modded version of Skyrim is a somewhat annoying and potentially gamebreaking bug/fault (One my part. Maybe?) in which there are multiple versions of weapons from mods such as SkyRe, PerMa, PrvtI's Heavy Armory and so on.What I mean is, when I go into the console commands and search for, let's say, "Iron shortsword" there are 4 different instances of thing floating around, and so there are 4 different versions of said weapon in my game world with somewhat identical stats. Anyone got any ideas? EDIT: I'm not retarded and I only have one of these mods installed and enabled (PerMa) and I have gone through and searched my Data files for the related plugins for each of these mods. StateWaffles
Well, I finally figured it all out; it was a rogue plugin called, "Overhaul4E"I was able to locate it through some very primitive techniques, which included ripping out a bunch of plugins from the data folder, throwing them into a seperate desktop folder, launching the game, searching for, "shortsword" in the console commands until nothing came up, located the group that I removed from the data folder, throwing it back in and slowly taking plugins away until I found the piece of s#*! that had been plaguing me for too long. FrankFamily
Yeah, everyone uses that primitive technique, basic troubleshooting of mods, and instead of " ripping out a bunch of plugins from the data folder, throwing them into a seperate desktop folder" you could disable the mods in NMM, no need to actually remove them from Data.
