Excellent mod! I'm glad I got to give it its 1,000th endorsement! :)

Interesting (and challenging quest), great reward, and the castle is just awesome! My favorite so far. It's (almost) bug free, and I just love it! :)
One thing: when I first got to the castle, I thought maybe it was bug, due to the difficulties I had to access it, and the chaotic rocks. I thought there was a conflict with another mod, and spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out what was causing that. Turned out it was just me being too used to conflicts, and actually everything was fine.

Congrats, and thanks a lot for the mod. :)

There needs to be better quest instructions and hints. The underwater part is just frustrating, even with nighteye. Halls are way too narrow to navigate underwater and I have no clue where the heck to go or do. Also, there needs to be better placement of those spike traps that kill you in one hit, even if you just graze it. I found some dragon eye thing and a locked rusty door but no hints or clue as what to do next. Just a very vague sentence. I am not a fan of underwater, cramped up areas and it's killing the immersion. I'm not even sure I got everything I needed from those frustrating halls of water. Please help, would like to endorse.

In response to post #9792500.

I think the underwater maze part was intended to be a hard puzzle as were the other puzzles and traps.
If you know how to use the CS you can look up the dart trap script ( aaGlenvarTrapDarts01SCRIPT ) and set their damage back to the Oblivion normal or to where ever you please.

In response to post #9792500. #9794122 is also a reply to the same post.

Thank you for replying. The only things that bother me underwater is that I can barely see anything, so I end up going in circles. The underwater graphics have always been bad, so it's hard to see and I'm too afraid to add the underwater mod because I don't want to have any problems with overloading. The spike traps I mentioned were the ones in the water, like the loose one you place when you first fall down into the water halls. Even if you just slightly graze it sneaking by, you die in one hit. I have to jump carefully, which isn't the problem, only that slightly knicking it kill you.

A novice light spell is plenty for a tunnel. Starlight 000A9825 Light in 20ft for 60sec on Self. if it is not convenient to run off the Edgar's Discount Spells to acquire it, then in the console
player.addspell A9825
player.removeitem f 20
the 20 Septim price level there guessing you to be around apprentice mercantile.

I just completed the first quest and purchased the cleaning upgrade.  Where is the throne room?  You have a great hall, dining room, etc etc; everything one would expect in their very own castle-- EXCEPT a throne room!  Why?!

When you enter the great hall and move forward toward the center, there should be an entry to the throne room like in other castles.  Instead, there's just a lame wooden desk.

Am I missing something or was this not included for some reason?  I saw another post on this thread awhile back asking the same question but it never got answered.  Do you plan on including a throne room in a later version?  I can't believe I played through all that and I can't even lord over my minions from upon a throne fit for an emperor!  My ego is totally disappointed!

If you don't plan on adding this essential component, please say so and I'll go ahead and create a fork of this mod myself.  Thanks!

Why the hell not?!  It's a castle!  Castles have throne rooms.

In response to post #10036620.

I would guess that the previous baron did not feel that his ass was important enough for a throne, on maybe he preferred sitting at his council table and player poker.
