Perhaps Iliana could be petitioned to pass Anequina onto the community. Tesnexus say, could have a section for 'orphan' mods that could be 'adopted' modder(s) for further development.

There have been mods that have been handed over before by the original developer before. But this is Iliana's baby, might not be so easy to get her to cut the cord.
Then again, "IF" I recall Steam forums had listed it as part of their Beautifying Oblivion thread for the longest time. I want to say that a little less then half the people who look at that thread have no idea how to drag a data folder over from Winrar to their Oblivion directory let alone as installing something as complex as Elsweyr.

Even only half-finished, this is still one of the top-10 mods of all time. Such a pity she gave up on it.

From what I read on the Beth forums, she just doesn't want it on Nexus anymore. She's given permission to someone to post it elsewhere. (Elsweyr?)

Iliana is still on Nexus. A few days ago I was browsing - and this is the awful part - some discussion (more than five pages, if memory serves) and someone provided a working link on Oblivion Nexus to "Elsweyr". So it's definitely there.
