My computer was damaged, and after the format, I lost all the content I had for this game.

Unfortunately, I do not have the motivation to continue working with these, as there are other game tools and mods that I am going to begin to undertake. I would love to upload all the stuff I had, it was maybe 50% done. But I can't... ):

If anybody would like to use my ideas, feel free, just add a nice credit for me!

GET RED. OR GET DEAD. A FALLOUT 3 MOD FOR THE PEOPLE.
COMING SUMMER 2011. PREPARE.

This happens to my first real mod project for Fallout 3, using the G.E.C.K., that I plan to release to the general public. It's been in the works for a couple of weeks now, and already I've made such PROGRESS that Karl Marx himself would BOOKMARK this thread. And yes, I know my Photoshop work is sexy. Enjoy!

The mod's questline begins as soon as you step out of Vault 101 into the Capital Wasteland. You discover the location to the secret base of a neo-Communist organization that seeks to provide shelter, food and protection to the less fortunate survivors in the Wastes. You are given the opportunity to join forces with this group; will you either gain their trust or deceive them, help fuel the rage of inner revolt or douse the flames, lead the group to arms against the Enclave or their own imminent destruction at your hands?

When is the mod going to be released?
I'm hoping for an early as possible release so I can start on the Fallout: New Vegas mod I have planned, but I set a self-deadline of Summer 2011. I won't pull a Black Mesa.

Will there be voice acting?
Not in the initial release, no. I'd rather concentrate on building the maps, designing the quests and working out the kinks and bugs after it's done than finding and casting voice actors. But, eventually.

well, i would remove the DLC part
as far as i know, only official expansions are considered DLCs
all the un-official ones are mods
but that's just a tiny point

when reading this, i was almost sure that this was a complete project
if this was so, i would have enjoyed giving it a try

quite frankly, this sounds great
if you get to be with the communists, but still keep good relations with the BoS and all, then it's quite a good idea

if you could tell what exactly you need help with, i think you'll get more help
but again, that's just my opinion :)

good luck to you, and i hope to see this done

one last point, and this is a suggestion
there are many weapon mods around, where you may find some good weapons to use on the communist forces, that will look much more realistic than the one's in the original game
especially look at the 19th and 20th Century Weapons mod
it may just have some of the things you'll need

Thanks for the tips, and the feedback!

I'll make sure to check out those 19th, 20th century weapons mod, but I think I've already got the items, weapons and armour that I need. As for what assistance I will require, tutorials on any must-have features in a content mod would be well appreciated, because this is my first time using the G.E.C.K. on this level.

And yes, the mod is playing as a neo-Commie faction against the Enclave, but remains neutral with the Brotherhood.

Wow. Impressive design for this page and the official modpage. This is the way mod announcements should be made! Good job for spending the time on it.

As I stated in the FAQs, the mod will be finished hopefully by Summer 2011. I'm planning to release it quicker, though. The more time I have to get working on my New Vegas mod, the better.

Thanks, very much. I try to pay huge attention to detail and strive to make my material as Bethesda-ish as possible (without the horrible patching jobs), from the content to the Photoshop work. But what gets me to the finish line is feedback from the community. Thanks again!

Good to hear, comrade. Keep watching the official site, I publish some good reading material, previews, glimpses, and more. And you can use the Steam group to notify you of changes.

I get to kill commies? Then yes, I'll download it when it's available.

Hopefully it won't conflict with all the mods I'm already running. I'd hate to have to give up my 20th Century Weapons, FWE, or the others that I really enjoy. Though I'd probably disable whatever I needed to just to cack some red bastards for a while, then re-enable them.

Sounds like you've got all your ideas pretty much down if you're going to release this summer, but if you want any quest ideas or whatnot, feel free to send me a message. I'm still a friggin amateur with GECK and haven't tried GIMP, Blender, or any of that other stuff, but I can come up with ideas out the wazoo.

Yep, you can choose to kill them, too. That would be sacrificing the questline though, because the mod is playing with commies against the Enclave. At least exploit them for the rewards and then waste them, da?

Would you like to contact me on Steam Community to speak about quest ideas?
