Evening guys.

I'm busy installing a few mods but I can't get them to work properly.

The mods are:

LOTC Eyelashes, eye textures pack.
Bidelles cosmetics.
Pineappletree's vibrant colors.
More hairstyles.

Basically I just get to see a silverish face, with silver/grey eyes. You would think that this indicates a problem with some face or eye textures not being present, but they are all installed correctly. I really can't think of anything else I can do :P. I merged the chargenmorph files with the compiler, but this also doesn't help.

I just hope you guys can help me out.

This is what happens when the CC can't find the resources that a slider position points to.

Sounds like you did not get everything merged in the single CGMC.xml that the CC requires. I would:

a) Have a good copy of all of the cgmc.xml files for all the mods involved, direct from the mod packages.
b) Place each mod and its cgmc.xml in a seperate folder under my "\overrides" folder.
c) Delete my chargenmorphcfg.xml.
d) Re-run the latest version of TerraEx's CharGenMorph Compiler.

I have every one of the ones you list installed, (and many, many more) and don't have this issue.

I'll try a rinse and repeat. But I modded the game about 3 times before on different playthroughs and never had a problem. Now I bought the Steam ultimate edition and there it is :(.

Ahhh... you didn't say you were working with a Steam install. The specific locations for a variety of things is ever-so-slightly different with a Steam install. I would start looking at the default paths for the various elements in the Compiler (last tab) and make sure that everything is mapped correctly for your rig.

I'm just about to give up now :P. I re-installed after deleting every last bit of the old install. After this, I started to manually copy each mod to the override folder, chargenmorph files intact. After I copied every folder, I ran chargenmorph compiler, making sure the paths are defined correctly, wich they are. The compiler made a brand new chargenmorph file for me, but when I started a new game, quit it and morphed my characters face, it still gave a greyish.silverish face and eyes. Not only with the morphs, even with several presets I installed it gave distorted faces. I am really running out of options now tbh :P. Any more tips?

P.S. thanks for the help thus far ;).

Just confirming, we're talking about your "\[user's documrnts]\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\core\override" (or whatever trhe Steam equivalent is) folder, and not the one under "\Program Files", right?

Then I would do a quick check for any stray CGMC.xml files left over from the mods you did install. There should only be ONE, ahat's the one that the Complier created by merging all the entries contained in all the others.

(And of course you placed each mod in it's OWN sub-folder when you moved them into the "\override" folder. Otherwise only the chargenmorphcfg.xml from the LAST one you moved would have remained...)

Yeah, the folder is the same as in the boxed version. I put all the individual mods in the documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override folder. Checked every single folder for a chargenmorph file that may got left behind. It was no use, it just won't work. I'm close to just buying the boxed ultimate edition out of frustration atm :P.

Something isn't "standard" about your set-up. Don't think "Steam vs. retail disc" will matter.

Are ANY mods working correctly for you? If so, which?

Mods that are working:

More Hairstyles
Witcher Aesthetics
White Teeth
Realistic Teeth
Raptures Wticher
Faster Combat
LOTC character creation eyelashes
Natural Bodies
Bidelles cosmetics
PineAppleTree's vibrant colors.

These are working as I can create a new character just fine. The hairstyles work, as do the new colors for skin and hair. But when I cycle through the presets, several faces remain greyish. So when I created a new character, I used a .mor file to change my caharacters appearance. This also results in a grey face.

I attached a screenshot to show you how the character looks after morphing it.
