The niAnimation error has become a thorn in my side. To make this clear for those desiring to make their own animated objects for Morrowind in Blender, I shall give a blow by blow description of the process. Here's what I'm doing:

First I make my mesh and animate in Blender, adding my text keys, etc, to perfection. (tutorials easy to find)

I export my mesh as a nif and clean it up in nifskope and make sure everything's there. (niftools, nifscripts and python req)

I insert my newly made nif into the Construction Kit and test the PlayGroups, referring to them via scripts.

I test it in the game.

Simple yeah?? They work of course, given that the object is made properly, an existing PlayGroup is keyed in and the nif is clean.

HOWEVER....

I get an error the first time the animation is played. "object" not found in niAnimation blah blah blah.

It doesn't play it in future animations.....but it's just annoying. -_- (sorry if you find my way of posting annoying)

Has anyone got the nif editing knowledge to help me?

Thank you,

MT
