I walked into the silver rush. They were talking to that guy, so i decided to go past the guards then they all attacked me, and I ran out. The guard and the crier started to attack so i killed them.
So my question is, will the silver rush ever become non-hostile toward me, or do I just have to go in and kill everyone?

you can either reload or kill them, they will not become non hostile. The van graffs are rip off murderers and its better in my opinion to kill them all and loot the stuff. you will not get any bad carma and be stocked on energy weapons. Plus the brotherhood of steel still sells ammo and you can loot it off fiends, then convert it if needed.

I guess I'll kill them, my last save before this, is too far back and will loose a lot of progress.
I was gonna do the peaceful solution to Cass's quest...

Hi,

it depends how you want to play the game ;)
In the first stages of the game it is nice to have them as an energy weapons dealer. If you first enter the store do what they say, that means stop and wait until they have finished with the guy. After that you are allowed to enter and you can talk to Gloria. Because we are in spoiler area i can tell you, you will have to think about your behaviour towards the van Graffs during the Rose of Sharron Cassidy quests.

I don't use energy weapons so they have never been of use to me.
I did Cass's quest on my other character and chose to kill them, so my new one I wanted to get the evidence but, I didn't think that when I passed the guard(i didn't even go that far past them) they would attack.
So now, I got the evidence from crimson caravan and now going to kill the van graffs and see if the evidence is there.

EDIT:
I told my compains to wait outside, put on a stealth boy than ran to get the evidence. They still shot at me cuz i bumped into the guard but I had enough stimpacks.

if it's the first time you enter in the Shop you should wait the conversation ended. ( it's good that shows how's they deal with their client and how they test their merchandises)
after this you can talk to them and buy weapons.
or sneak to get some evidences....

btw: you don't need to order your companions to wait, after the van Graffs ends to deal with the client you can walk normally with your companions inside the shop.
even Cass. ( at least before the Bird of Prey quest)

I told them to wait just so they don't kill anyone so I could do the quest the "peaceful" way. I couldn't load to a previous save because my last save was too far back and would loose a lot of progress.
