Sigh.. this mod just wasted my time. There is no body with a note and amulet of kings anywhere near Fort Ash. The only dead body is the dead adventurer in the middle of the dart traps INSIDE the fort and he has nothing special on his person. Furthermore, only the Frostcrag DLC quest is given to you and all the others never even start. Avoid this mod, it doesn't work as advertised, so save yourself the grief and frustration.

I happen to know for a fact that it does work properly. Your problems are certainly attributable to user error.

Would you like to try solving them, or are you just here for the baseless slander?

I agree with Nephenee13, as this mod worked flawlessly for me, and it was on a very heavily modded game.  The dead adventurer is the bearer of the Amulet of Kings, and if it was not on the body when you searched it, either something went wrong with the installation, or there is quite possibly a conflict preventing it from appearing in the inventory.

So if I understand right I am using Kvatch Intact with Kvatch Rebult so the Fort Ash Corpse won't be there till AFTER I am approched by the courier and I decline the mission correct?

I have to say considering I have not played Oblivion in about 4 years and decided to play this for the first time in 4 years and I was happy to see this mod as I love Live another Life in Skyrim helps me roleplay much better Thanks so much :-) Endorsed

trying to start the main quest with this mod plus kvatch intact.  no body to loot at ash fort, the emperor is still alive.  i have seen posts that say i need to be recruited to something but i don't know how or where this should happen.  any help?

Just play the game, you don't have to do anything special.

well i'm level 7 and have been playing for a while, still haven't been able to start the main quest or get the notes that start any of the DLC stuff.  i've looked around ash fort several times and there is no body, the emperor is still alive, and ive sat outside the temple of the one for several days and have not recieved an invite to some quest that should lead to the emperors death. 

 

if it matters, i chose the shipwreck opening.
