Is there a mod put there that makes the grass greener. I love games that are more "colorful" and that is one thing tat bothers me with Morrowind (the fact that it is so dark and monotonous as far as the general texture of the grass and sky...

Well there's a mod that's going to be released soon (I think). It's called Morrowind 4 Kids and it makes things VERY colorful. It's also a total conversion and will have new music too. But there's also another mod I saw (I forgot where it was) and it changed the grass and stuff and it looked a lot better.

There's also one coming out that's going to turn Red Mountain into a jungle after you defeat Dagoth Ur! But stupid me lost the link... any help finding it would be mucho appreciated, as I'd like to check on progress!

Not even... that's why I was looking for some help from anyone else who might have heard of this! I need a better system of organization, because I have so many bits of paper floating around that things get lost.A jungle you say..that sounds interesting. PErhaps you remember the name of the mod?

Yes! I too have heard of this MOD. hmm. It sounded cool, and I remember seeing someone ask on a forum (the Modder, I would assume) if it could be done. With a lot of scripting one guy said.
I actually think that it was discussed over at www.morrowindfiles.com just a bit before it went under. Check recently there under plugins and or under TES Construction set...something like that.
Also, dont know if the guy ever got around to creating it, so this may all be in vain.
I'm gonna go check it out. Cheers.

Et voila!
Find the Transforming Red Mountain forum topic here!
But thats all that I remember.... havent heard of an update since....
To do it, you'd need to script like every blade of grass and tree, and giant mushroom thing, and have all the corprus creatures, deadra, etc. disappear...

Thanks for the link!!! And yes, the guy not only did it, but it was almost finished. However, he hadn't planned on releasing it publicy so he did it with a whole bunch of other mods installed and open. Last news, he was working on a new version without those mods so it can go public and be clean. Also, dont know if the guy ever got around to creating it, so this may all be in vain.
I'm gonna go check it out. Cheers.

I know this is for 1.0 but I believe 2.0 if not on this site is at the summit
