TheDragonforged Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I downloaded CK, used and now I want it gone, but there are so many posts about people saying that uninstalling CK deleted all their Skyrim folder and also uninstalled Skyrim. Whenever I make a big change in my game I make a complete copy of my Skyrim folder (like 30 something GB) and store it in my documents. If I uninstall CK and it uninstalls Skyrim, can I just install the game again and then copy my backup folder to the new folder? And will NMM keep the mods or will they be deleted and will NMM recognize the backup folder? When I started Skyrim on pc someone told me to always make a copy of my Skyrim folder just in case. saurusmaximus Posted August 1, 2015 Share Posted August 1, 2015 I've actually never heard that one before. But yes, you should be able to reinstall the game and copy your game folder back over.
