northernhick Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 I very recently installed the DLCs and the Unofficial Patches, and it was all working fine yesterday... This evening, I went to start up Skyrim, and the Startup Menu wouldn't open - it just hung up on the opening screen with the Empire logo, and nothing else showing. I did some troubleshooting, and figured that if I deactivated the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch, I didn't have the problem. Tried reinstalling the patch, etc., but no luck. So I have a two-fold question: (A) Any ideas on what's causing it, and how to fix it? (B) How important is the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch? myztikrice Posted July 31, 2015 Share Posted July 31, 2015 You have a mod with errors overwriting changes in the UHFP. Load your load order in TES5Edit, see which mod is overwriting its changes, right click the mod and select 'Check for errors.' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
