Equip animation glitch with one handed weapon on back

Ok. This one is a long story. I installed XPS32 Maximum Skeleton Extended and there was an option for the one handed sword on back + an option for the equip/unequip animation, so it would look like u take it from your back, not hip (looks like 2 handed). It looked nice but then I noticed this bug - sometimes when you try to sheath your weapon it kinda gets stuck. The animation plays, you have the swords equiped, but you can't attack and can't unequip you weapon. Also my AutoPV doesn't go to the 1st person view. Then, after a few seconds, when you click the attack button several times, the sheath animation plays again and voila! You can attack, unequip your weapon, AutoPV switches to 1st person and everything is fine. It happens ONLY with the one handed sword equiped and only to me, NPCs are okay. AutoPV is not the reason because I had this glitch a long time before I had installed AutoPV. I ran FNIS but it didn't help (it's updated to the last version). I don't use custom weapon mods, Dual Sheath Redux and any other mods that affect the sheath animation. I reinstalled the skeleton BUT with no animation (my sword is still on back but the animation is default from hip) and everything worked fine. I reinstalled the skeleton with the animation - the glitch appeared again. I tried installing "Pretty Combat Idles" (it has the sheath animations too) - had the same glitch. So then I tried to do it myself. I unpacked the Skyrim animations BSA and took the two handed sword equip/uneqip animations and replaced the one handed animations. I went ingame, it looked exactly like with the "1h sword on back animation" option ticked in XPS32 skeleton. And the glitch was still there. Then an idea suddenly came to me. I took the 1st person animations and replaced the one handed to look like you equip a two handed sword. I went ingame. The animation does look stupid from first person BUT the glitch was gone. Everything worked fine. I can't imagine why, but it worked. But other glitches occured. There was no sound for the animation and my AutoPV didn't go back to 3rd person view when I unequiped my sword. If i remove the animations, AutoPV works fine. So this is not the solution. I really need to fix this.

If the fix is not possible, I have another idea, but I don't imagine how to do this. I truly don't care where my character's sword is, but I want the NPCs to have the sword on back. The only one handed sword I use is the Dawnbreaker in my right hand. If it would be possible to make the Dawnbraker use the dagger positioning and equip animation, it would be just awesome! In other words, I need the Dawnbreaker to become a dagger. Any ideas?

I can't say why your problem happened in first place. There are too many factors involved. Most notably: if and which animation replacers did you use?

But don't tell me. I have no overview about available equip/unequip animation. I just want to explain why such issue can happen when you simply replace one animation with another.

Animations need behavior files to run. And those behavior files do the integration of the animation files into the game. Among many other things the behavior files send events to the engine when certain things should happen. Replacing one animation file by another doesn't make the behavior file behave differently.

And when events are sent after the new animations already has finished, then strange effects can happen. For example the famous multi hit glitch which occurs when a custum attack animation is shorter than the original one.
