If the escapist loves it that means that people do too? Or are we going to reduce into conspiracy theories?
Lol, the last sentence "It'll be remembered as a pinnacle of roleplaying games. Well... at least till Skyrim comes out.".
The escapist gets close. I agree on all, but I didn't like the controls in the demo...so I pushed it off. The stories and characters are always good though, it what kept me playing the first.
Haha. I loved that last sentence.
Anyway, I do not trust 'official' game reviews. Advertising money paid by publishers to these sites is know to skew reviews.
(Just a few interesting articles: Fake user reviews ; Game reviews on Metacritic: Why we avoid inclusion and last but not least the infamous Gerstmann Gate scandal .)
However, the gameplay video looked good.

Indeed and this review stinks of payola, maybe the large amount of advertising EA have put their way of late is just a coincidence but this "Review" reads like it was written by someone in marketing. The fact that the reviewer mentions the auto attack on the 360 when there is no auto attack on the 360 makes you wonder if he even played the thing. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I'm just saying it would be unwise to base a decision on what looks to be a bought review. It even raised a few eyebrows on Biowares fanboy infested boards.
And for balance just in case anyone thinks I'm EA bashing here's one Activision bought. Remember the mess the MP was in on the PC/PS3 versions of Black Ops? you wouldn't learn anything about it from this advertisem...... er I mean review. http://uk.gamespot.c...ry;watch-review
More like "some hardcore gamers stuck in the past" and "the rest carry on as usual". Do you really have to split PC gamers like me in half?
