I have to say that this is such a fresh start for Dragon Age. The combat system is so cool and fluent. The characters are even more fleshed out than in the first. This game was absolutely, 100% worth the sixty bucks that I paid.

I thought that Dragon Age: Origins was great, but DA 2 has greatly exceeded my expectations.

Just felt saying that my love for the Dragon Age games have become deeper. I am truly hooked lol :)

Yeah I have read a lot of people's complaints and everything about this game, but I mean come on, it's Bioware, they're games are never sucky!!! Never lol. But this game has really upped everything in my opinion.

A lot of people were saying that the combat is unrealistic in DA2, so what I have to say to that is that in DAO they must think that swinging a sword as slow (just a long sword I mean, not great sword) as an ogre swinging a club is realistic. Hell no is what I say! Sorry for the profanity, but no warrior is going to swing that slow and stand that still fighting one enemy. But that is my point of view. I think that a warrior would focus on all targets around him and not just one single enemy. And DA2 allows me to do just that. I can clear out an entire crowd with just two warriors. To me, there is just so many options to work with in combat!!! :)

But yes I absolutely love the game! Even if I am just one of very few, i'm pretty sure that the ones who do like it will see and feel what I do when playing this game. I just love it!

Anyways enough of my ranting and trying to raise this game up as if it was all holy and deserves a seat beside The Maker Himself ha :)

I picked mine up at gamestop yesterday, didn't get a chance to play it until this morning, then I played for like 10 straight hours and it looks like I've only brushed the surface of the game so far, it is SO good.

Can't wait for Bioware to update the toolset so we can get some mods going though. There are appearances of some characters that need desperate rearranging *cough*elves*cough*and*cough*Isabella*cough*.

I ordered mine from Amazon.ca last year, and it won't get to me until the 14th of March...grrr...and I still don't know if I'll be getting the other preorder items like the Lion of Orlais. Believe me, this is the FIRST + LAST time I'll be preordering games from Amazon.ca

Aside from that, I think the majority of people who are upset will turn around once they get into it. That is not to say that the game doesn't deserve SOME criticisms in terms of the changes made. I personally didn't like the idea that they would want to cater to console players (*cough cough* COD players), but I'll have to wait until Monday to see if that is indeed true.

Not sure where the OP ordered, but the last time I used Amazon for something like this, they didn't ship it until Release Day. For DA2 I went right to the EA Store (had discount codes, so got the SE for US$29. )

It shipped on the 4th, (Friday) arrived on the 8th (Tuesday.)

I ordered mine from Gamestop. That is really the only place that I will preorder games. Especially pc games. But I am still playing DA 2 and am enjoying it just as much as when I got it. The story is just plain amazing. I have been taking a break from the game for a little while due to getting Halo: Reach. Awesome game as well, but I am about to return to Oblivion and DA 2 soon lol.

Thanks for all the positive posts :)

Its nice with a big sparkle of happiness; personally I got it from Steam to be certain; besides I no longer utilize a CD/DVD-Player in my main computer ~ but anyway have fun and enjoy.
