What's the real point in getting Carver anyway? He just abandons you no matter what you do with the deep roads incident. I'm sure If you tell Bethany to stay home, she doesn't throw a hissie fit and runs off to join blood mages or something... Then again, I haven't played a warrior or a rouge yet... I did read On Dragon age Wiki, that it is possible for Carver to go the the estate with you and your mother I have yet to figure out how to do this.
I really can't wait til a better version of this comes out, I'm a mage 90% of the time!

UPDATED! This is finally an actual mod instead of a crappy hack.
Edit: To the 2 people who downloaded earlier, please redownload, there was a bug that would cause problems when creating new characters.
I've tested briefly, but please report any problems here so I can address them. I've already played the game twice and don't have time to test much at the moment.

@Rah2005: Even with a toolset and campaign database that would most likely be a lot of work. Since the designers were lazy and used the character's class to determine so much the only solution would probably be to edit every dialog/scene in which the sibling appears.

@xatmos: Yeah, somehow i hate carver...
It bugs me the most that no matter what, deep roads you loose another sibling as party member. So its not the big deal which one dies/disappears first

It works fine but I am wondering since I am only interested in getting bethany afther killing ogre. Is there are chance to return unmoded version because when I delete the forlder from addins it says it cannot load the game because you are missing a dlc so is there any solution to this problem or am I stick of being a rogue/warrior for the rest of the game?

@seweryn: If you use it you need to keep it installed for that playthru, otherwise scenes involving the sibling will not play correctly.
As for your class, whenever you are in combat, or view the character sheet, you should be the correct class. If that is not the case then it is not working correctly. Let me know under what circumstances it is failing.

I was just asking if there was a way to reverse the change so the npc would see me as a mage or do I need to start a knew game because when I deleted your mod from my addins directory the game didn't wanted to load because I didn't have the dlc installed so I had to delete dlc using gff editor from my savegame but the when I load my game my class changed to rogue so I am wondering is there a way using gff editor to change my class back? Don't get me wrong this is a great mod and I love it. You did great work with it but since bethany won't be with me with most of act 2 and act 3 I was wondering if I could be treated as a mage then. @seweryn: You will have to change it manually, but since you seem to know your way around the gff editor this is actually pretty easy to do. What you need to do is find your characters abilities and change the ability 200000 (the rogue class ability) to 300000 (the mage class ability).
Here is the path to your character's abilities in the save files:
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR
SAVEGAME_CREATURE_STATS
SAVEGAME_ABILITYLIST
I think that should do it.
