So a mod where you could chose either Bethany or Carver to survive and to continue being your companion in the rest of the game. If you don't play as a mage then Bethany will survive cause she herself is a mage. If you play as a mage Bethany will die instead and you will have Carver as a companion since he is a warrior. Be nice to be able to chose for yourself rather then it being defined as what class you play as.

That mod had invisible sibling issues. Here is an invisible sibling free method for the time being:

How to switch siblings (I'll be doing Warrior with Carver this time):

1. get the no requirements on equipment mod, you need this to equip staffs: http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=2213

2. activate the console: http://dragonage.wik...(Dragon_Age_II)

3. Start a game as a mage.

4. After the prologue and creating your character, open the console, type "runscript addtalent 300000" and hit enter. This will add the mage class to your character.

5. Open the console again and type "runscript removetalent 100000". You need to do this to avoid the invisible sibling glitch.

6. Congrats, Carver will now be the one to survive, and you'll be able to watch the scenes without any issues.

note: after the one year jump, you'll have to manually remove the mage specializations and add the warrior ones. Use the talent runscripts and the specialization codes on http://dragonage.wik...(Dragon_Age_II)to do this.
