Lucien himself is pretty much an idiot. I go to the mages quarters in the Mages guild to take a nap (I use ImpeREAL, so I don't know if the mages quarters are from a mod or not.), Lucien comes to me and talks to me... Despite there being like 2 or 3 other magisters there!

Of course, the bad idea was shooting him with lightning, he pretty much killed off all the other students by the time I finally killed him.

Anybody else thinks the Night Mother is a big fat liar? I get the impression she's just a ghost able to hear the prayers to Sithis. She didn't predict all this mess and came up with a terribly cheap "they were weak" explanation to remain the powerful and wise leader.

Now THERE is an idea for an extension to the DB quests - be visited by Sithis himself in a dream to reveal the Night Mother is a fake. Your mission would be to find and rescue the true Night Mother, and arrange the swap back without the rest of the DB becoming aware - so you'd have a search and rescue mission, the true NM as a escortable companion who you had to protect, a stealth mission with assassination or kidnap, and even possibly a way apparently "kill" the Night Mother while leaving her and the organisation intact (might in turn lead into a mod that expands the Imperial Watch attempts to close the DB down)

I aree that Lucien Lachance is a bit of an idiot who claims to be psychic, Killing Rufio in his bed & then sleeping right next to the corpse LL then says
"So the deed is done, How do I know this?" .. Probably because Rufio's corpse is still warm right next to me.

I agree that there should of been more epic assassinations though.

Lucien is pretty funny. He lives in that fort full of undead, always leaves dramatically, has a giant black hand poster in there, his horse is decorated with a skull and the hand symbol. Who is more pretentious? Sheogorath maybe.

Another silly moment: killed Umbra and took a short nap on her bedroll. And there he is.

Cool idea, I was thinking the player could question the Night Mother, start some revolution, and fight all the ghosts she throws at him/her (wrath of Sithis also seems to be a part of her scheme). Defeating the Night Mother herself would make the player take her place as a leader and pick a new listener. Some other spirit would appear in the tomb, like Lucien or someone from the sanctuary. Or Bellamont, who would be forced to do it.
