Please don't spam in the DA3 speculation thread, there are already about three or four threads open where you can slag the game off, but this thread isn't for that.

Why? That does seem to be the most probable forecast for DA3. [Dragon Effect 3 that is]

& I like ME, so if they can just get ME quality to DA3 maybe (DA2 lacks the polish of ME at almost every turn). At least it would make a decent action/adventure ~

I prefer to call it "Dragon May Cry Tournament Fighter 2 : Hope You Like the City." :whistling:

I would like to play as an outcast Quinari, or have the choice with other races, traipsing through the Tavinter's lands forming an alliance with rebels and slaves. A dark place over run with slavers and evil Mages, fighting through their sick creations and experiments, to restore freedom or become the one and only tyrant.

I would really like to see more Deep Roads content in Dragon Age 3. The Deep Roads sequence "A Paragon of Her Kind" in DA:O was fantastic, and I can say that the Deep Roads sequence in DA2 was easily my favorite part of the game, I was thoroughly surprised and intrigued by the primeval thaig, as well as the profanes, and I'd say the Ancient Rock Wraith was hands down the most fun enemy of the entire game. Another thing I would really like to see in DA3 is the return of the Arcane Warrior class (I LOVED playing AW/BM in DA:O), and the champion class for Warriors. I have to say though that I really like what they did with the Templar class in DA2, It is a lot more fun to play now, and the final "Annulment" skill is great. Reaver also got significantly better in DA2 and I really liked that.

Since this series has already become Dragon Effect, I predict that the Black City is a Reaper.

ROFL! Brilliantly put ...

And sadly plausible based on EA/Bioware's recent choices ... :wallbash:

*slinks away to fondle his Alistair and Morrigan dolls while scowling viciously at the abomination called "Hawke" ...*

Judging from Mike Laidlaw defense feedback on Gamespot, I'm not sure what to expect anymore. I think DA 3's direction will move toward anything that against my wish. More streamlined, fixed gender single character, no customization, no inventory, no control over dialogue - character talks by himself, faster combat pace, flashy move, bustling GTA-like city and linear story. Something like Assassin Creed and Darksiders. I think, Mike's vision is pure action instead of true role-play. He probably add few stats here and there just to make it look RPG.

If they would do it well I'd like, like I really liked GTAIV (or GTAIII, Saints Row II etc); or as I like well made RPGs.

But at least in GTAIV people stay dead when you kill them; and there is quality that run through GTAIV, there isn't to DA2 (there are parts that are of quality, but its hardly a qualitative totality) .

so ~

I doubt the dragon age series will go so low as you say, If mike stays the lead designer I think he'll just wait for ME3 to rip it off :D

Seriously, I'd like to see so much more from Dragon Age 3, and I don't want to see it next year! otherwise I'll just know in advance this game will be rubbish.

I want to see the old dialouge system again, having a voiced protagonist adds a lot to the game and more feeling to the main character but I want to know what I'm gonna say.
Visiting more places like the tevinter imperium, anderfels, orlais, antiva, nevarra I know this is a lot of nations to visit just in one game, but I'd would love to see a protagonist stronger than the champion and the warden together that would be able to actually have a lot of influence on the dragon age world and on all those nations I don't think dragon age game should be limited to one nation only.

Let the class/specializations we choose have more influence on the world around us, like blood mage for example, or templar, that would make the dragon age world a lot bigger and I think will encourage players to try different classes too see different options during the game. I'm not saying one specialization like blood mage for example should really drift the story to a different MAIN STORY and so on, just let those things be more unique and not making them look like they pulled out of someone ass.

Better Story Goddammit! If there is to be a blight then so be it, but let it be a massive one! blight that isn't staying in one place. let it to be spreading across the nations, we already learned that darkspwan are smart enough to talk during awakening, aren't they smart enough to spread through the deep roads? Dragon Age 2 First act was completely pulled out of something ass, go to the deep roads, kill some rocks, and By the way you are never going to see your sister/douche bag brother again. Fighting for a purpose has much better feeling then fighitng for some stupid "The Specter" (oops, I mean champion) title.

If not all of this... then at least a god damn toolset!!!!! :P

***possible spoilers***

It's my first post, too, so I don't know how to hide the text, sorry. Just skip this post if you haven't played the DA games yet.

[mod]Fixed that for ya'. Click "Reply" and you'll see how to do it. ;) [/mod]
Wow, easier than I thought! Thanks for showing me the tag. :)

Spoiler

I wonder if instead of the story continuing, they will just choose another story, like Hawke's, from the same time.
