Okay, so i'm trying to enable my console or whatever, never done it before in origins but it's grey! D: It won't let me do anything to the Target of it.
Any ideas?
Here's a picture of what i mean, any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to create an actual shortcut to the DragonAge2.exe located in the bin_ship folder inside your Dragon Age 2 installation directory. You can then edit the "Target" line. The shortcut you showed a picture of is one that windows uses for its "Games" directory.

I tried to get the console to work so I could edit my characters abilities, no such luck. It seems any link I find through google that has anything to do with "save game editor" or "save editor" is dead, most likely being blocked by EA/Bioware, probably because its for a feature in a DLC.

Hmmm... Some "partial" information there.

Instructions for enabling the Command Console are correct. It's a switch tagged onto the end of the start-up command used to launch the game.

Only some (a few?) of the commands from DA:O/A work in DA2. Here's the thread about this started when the Demo came out. It was last updated just after full release: "DA2 demo console enabled"

"Links" aren't being blocked, AFAIK, (and I've been looking around the various "usual sites" since the Demo was released.) It's just that there's not much to find, since there isn't an updated (DA2-specific) Toolset to work with.

A few hardy modders have figured out how to do some basic things (PC/NPC face replacements, some "item attribute" things) but we're all looking forward to real progress once there's a real Toolset; BioWare's or a Community-developed one!
